Rockslide Studio & Gallery Victoria, BC

About Rockslide

Established in 2013, Rockslide Studio & Gallery facilitates artist and exhibition spaces in Victoria, BC.

Who we are

Rockslide Studio & Gallery is dedicated to making creative spaces and exhibition opportunities accessible to professional and emerging artists alike. Established in 2013 by Logan Ford and Ian George, this growing independent arts organization advocates for affordable artist studios where a vibrant local culture can flourish.

What we do

Rockslide Studio & Gallery provides studio spaces to more than 70 artists in partnership with 5 other arts organizations including the Ministry of Casual Living, Supply Victoria, the Victoria Tool Library, and Haus of Owl.

Besides providing artist studio spaces, Rockslide Studio & Gallery offers an artist residency program. Our popular interactive studio tours and gallery openings bring together people from all walks of life to celebrate the best of local arts.

In an increasingly precarious rental market, Rockslide Studio & Gallery is a strong advocate for protecting accessible workspaces for artists. We believe that a strong and engaging local arts scene is a vital component of a thriving community. With our many partners, we work to find solutions to this important issue so that Victoria can continue to live up to its reputation as an artistic hub.

Rockslide Studio & Gallery respectfully acknowledges that it is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Xwsepsum (Esquimalt) and Lekwungen (Songhees) people. We are eternally grateful to work and create on these grounds.
