Building
Solo Exhibition by Nick Patterson
During his Rockslide residency, Nick Patterson captured 54,000 photos of 780 Blanshard, reconstructing its exterior, rooms, and hallways using photogrammetry. By preserving only the most detailed parts of each 3d segment, he created a corroded, porous structure where blank walls vanish, leaving artworks and clutter to bind the structure together. Building is a video installation exploring this new virtual structure.
